QNX Operating System ? (RIM “BlackPad”)
Still remember the Blackpad ? Yes, this is the name of the tablet PC BlackBerry, which is rumored to be present as one of the iPad competitor’s. According the RIM manufacture the Blackpad is going to be produce by Quanta Computer (Taiwan computer manufacturer). Therefore, some specifications of this Blackerry tablets will also change, like the screen which will inform wider.
As a result, the size of the screen that was rumored, 8.9 “, will change to 9.7″. It recorded similar iPad screen, although the resolution is not yet known with certainty. BlackPad will support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Also, there will be software / applications, which allows users to use the 3G connection in Blackpad via your BlackBerry phone.
Rumors say that Quanta Blackpad will launch in November. But, according to information from other sources such as the Apply Daily, the RIM manufacture is trying to launch the tablet in the market at September. Estimated price tag for it is about $ 499 or 375 Euro. Blackpad sales target is calculated 2 million units in 2010. Then 8 million units in 2011. Are you ready to get your tablet ?
