New Acer Netbook (dual OS)
On the side of the latest Aspire One dual-core netbook launch in Taiwan, Acer revealed that these netbooks will be equipped with two operating systems at once, namely Windows 7 and Android. It was as reported by Digitimes citing a source from Acer.
dual OS is needed to stimulate market demand, as well as to minimize costs. The reason to adopt the Android OS is not needed is expensive. As a result, although this netbook has two OS in terms of pricing will remain friendly in the pockets of the prospective audience.
Aspire One Acer launched dual-core will be present with a choice of four colors: blue, green, red, and purple. Later this netbook market segment that is young and fashionable consumers.
Besides gear up with the Intel Atom 550, Acer is adopting Android as an OS instance. Acer expects these devices could be able to be absorbed into the market as many as 40 million units.
However, for the year 2010 it will sell about 10 million units. Even so Acer would like to claim that sales targets can be achieved. In fact, Acer is also eyeing the position as market leader in the netbook segment.
